When typing in two characters into the search box the app freezes and crashes. Problem still persists after clearing data.
Comments: I second this. Android O DP2 on my Pixel. As soon as I type two characters in the search bar, the app crashes in great fashion. Locks up everything, keepass2android keyboard frozen on screen for ~15-30 seconds at least. Everything else seems to be working fine in O.

Fingerprint unlock on Pixel XL running Android 7.1 build NDE63L doesn't work. A red exclamation point appears under QuickUnlock where the fingerprint icon would normally be. Tapping the icon displays a stack trace showing the following exceptions:

Error initializing Fingerprint Unlock: Java.Lang.RuntimeException: Exception of type 'Java.Lang.RuntimeException' was thrown.
Java.Lang.RuntimeException stack trace -- java.lang.RuntimeException: Failed to init Cipher
Caused by: java.security.InvalidKeyException: Only SecretKey is supported
```

I didn't see an obvious way to copy the complete stack trace and I'm too lazy to retype the whole thing.

Fingerprint unlock does work OK on my Nexus 6P running the Android 7.1 developer preview.
Comments: Disabling and re-enabling fixed for me on my nexus 6p I had also recently installed kypass on iOS... possibly related. It does have some sync conflict on iOS when syncing on g-Drive.

Comments: I am also having this issue. If I type 2 characters into the search, it freezes that app. I am able to manually navigate to the password without issue. Nexus 6P Android O Build: OPP2.170420.019 Keepass2Android: v1.01-g

Comments: That fixed it for me too. I used the setup tool to move from my old 6P to the Pixel so perhaps app data copied from another phone causes this. If possible it would be helpful to display a message to disable and re-enable rather than getting a stack trace.

* It also proposes the words even if one is a password field, which allows to see in clear the password.

It may be a configuration problem for my version, so I registered to test the beta version.

I went from android 6.0.1 to nitrogen 7.1.2_r11 on a rooted nexus 4 and now the only way I can have the ability to keyboard switch to kp2a is to have both android keyboard (aosp) and gboard enabled. Google voice typing doesn't seem to have any effect. Keepass is on in accessibility. Not sure what else to check or try.

K2A keyboard: the number preview (long press of q / w / e ...) is hidden, so multiple layout f.e. u must be guessed!

Please be so kind and add a button next to the password field - in edit mode - to quickly generate a new password that is HIDDEN by default.

The app remembers my last preferences regarding password generation; password length and what chars I want to use, but the password is always VISIBLE!! This is horrible in public places and some other situations, and I use your app very often in such situations.

I just need to quickly generate another password with the push of a button and be done with it - without having to see the new password.

You could add a menu with profiles for custom quick password generation, so that we can pick to get a 32, 64 or 100 char password with certain chars used or not..

I often search for an entry, go to the detail and then press the back button. Then, the search term is still included in the search field (which is good), but there are all items shown and not filtered according to the search term. If the search term is modified (e.g., a letter deleted), the search results are updated accordingly (which is good).

Is it possible that the displayed entries are always filtered according to the search term?

I've always used this software in conjunction with google drive, but it suddenly stopped working. When I try to open a file in drive, I get an error that package installer has stopped working. This happens whether I click on the link to a previously opened file, or if I try to navigate to google drive. I have Android 6.0.1

I've always used this software in conjunction with google drive, but it suddenly stopped working. When I try to open a file in drive, I get an error that package installer has stopped working. I ran into an issue using a combination of fingerprint and key-file on a flash-drive to unlock a database.
The password is being filled in if a fingerprint has been recognized, even if no key-file is provided.

Is it possible to only fill the password field after both factors are provided? Otherwise a false positive in the fingerprint can lead to the master-password being compromised.

I created a file on my old OneDrive and it worked great on the KeePass2Android app until I migrated all of my files to my new OneDrive. Now the app is still connecting to my old OneDrive, where the KeePass file is no longer held. I have tried to find somewhere to get the app to sign out of the old to sign into the new but no luck, I have even tried uninstalling and reinstalling in hopes of resetting the configuration. That was unsuccessful as well. When I try to navigate to the file from the 3rd party app option it tells me that I need to copy the file locally. Can you please add a way to change the OneDrive account?

Hi, I've always used Keepass2Android with a local key file, using the System file picker. Today I attempted to open the database and got an error "No such file or directory".

After changing the location of the Key file to Google Drive I was able to open the database.

Android 6.0.1

Keepass2android crashes when I go to the settings screen on my s5mini.
On my nexus7 it works like before.
