I own a Samsung Galaxy S5 and I would be very glad if it would be possible to unlock the database using the fingerprint scanner. In this way one could associate the database password to his fingerprint to unlock the database without any typing.
Comments: you should see a fingerprint icon next to the input field in QuickUnlock (as well as in the password screen) and be able to unlock with a fingerprint scan. I decided to keep the input field because in some situations it might be easier to enter the QuickUnlock key. There is nothing stored for Fingerprint QuickUnlock. For "Full Fingerprint Unlock", the whole password is stored (encrypted and protected by Android Key Store with the fingerprint). When switching to "Fingerprint Unlock Disabled" or "Fingerprint QuickUnlock", the encrypted password is deleted.
