I own a Samsung Galaxy S5 and I would be very glad if it would be possible to unlock the database using the fingerprint scanner. In this way one could associate the database password to his fingerprint to unlock the database without any typing.
Comments: I'm using the Nexus 5X. I also do not see an fingerprint button for quick unlock. However, when I select Full fp unlock.... it works as I would expect for Quick Unlock. I can either type the last N char, OR press my finger. I use a Yubikey in Challenge/Response mode. Is it possible to require both QuickUnlock code AND the Challenge-Response. Essentially, two factors! The something I know (QU code) and the something I have (Yubikey)? Or, the something I am (fingerprint instead of the QU code) and the something I have (Yubikey)? Quick Unlock is nice, but I don't want it to remove the need for my yubikey. Or at least have the option for such.
