I just started to use this and wonder how the sync process should be used.
I have a kdbx file on my internal memory that I copied from my desktop. I've opened that with Keepass2Android.
After I did some changes in android and also on the desktop, I wanted to sync both.
As I saw the menu Item "Synchronize Database" (on my phone in german, don't know the exact english thing), and I used that before and it said "Cache file and Remote file are identical, I thought Keepass2Android would work on a copy somewhere and sync to this instance.
Thats why I than overwrote the file on the phone memory to sync the changes in. When I opened K2A I saw a toast with "copying remote file to cache" or something similar. That process overwrote all the changes that I did on Android before and just replaced the whole database with the content i copied on the phone.
TL;DR: How to properly use the sync function? Where to put a file which changes should be synced to the local database?
