NFC with my YubiKey Neo does not seem to work on Android Marshmallow.

In the YubiKey Personalization Manager you can not change to just text either, because it requires some character to be put in as a pad.
What can I provide to assist in troubleshooting?
Comments: mpfl: I don’t think the launcher has anything to do with it. When I activate the Yubikey via NFC, I __do__ get a list of apps allowing me to choose how to handle the action. The problem is that __Keepass2Android does not even appear on this list!__ This seems to be a fundamental problem in Android 6 (Marshmallow), as others here have explained. By the way, I’m not using a Samsung phone, but a OnePlus One, so I’ve never had the Samsung launcher in the first place.
